DIY Halloween Costumes

DIY Halloween Costumes
I love the Holiday Season and it kicks off with Halloween. I started to DIY Halloween Costumes in college. Ummm, poor college student meant I needed to get creative. When I started dating my husband, I started to DIY couple Halloween costumes. Our very first couple costume was a Cowboy and Indian girl. We have been together for 15 years, so of course there has been years where I just bought costumes, made costumes, and skipped dressing up. But the last two years, I have been in a creative lazy mood and we dressed in Halloween theme outfits.
My biggest problem in DIY Halloween Costumes is time. Life gets in the way and I run out of time to make costumes. So, I like to think of cool DIY Halloween Costumes that are easy and simple to make. I like to spend maybe a few days making them. But if it takes more than a few days, I would find something I can make on-the-go.
Below are a few of my recent DIY Halloween Costumes and the last two on the list are my Halloween themed outfits. As I am writing this post, I decided to break this down into smaller posts and explain how I made each costume.
  • Superman
  • Pumpkins
  • Beanie Babies
  • Frankenstein
  • Skeletons
Now what shall I do for Halloween 2018. I have a few ideas but I really need to pick one and roll with it. This year I am thinking about DIY Halloween Costumes. My creative side has been on point and I want to keep the momentum going. But time is running out and I really need to make up my mind. Stay tuned for my post on what I decided to make or buy. Follow my crafting adventures on Facebook and Instagram.
